La Caja de Vinos.

Design of a wine shop on calle San Felipe Neri, 2, Madrid

The wine shop that we designed in the centre of Madrid has opened. Here are some photos that have been taken by Raúl Grande Durán and our partner Paula Fernández San Marcos.

 

The idea was to make a single intervention within the shop: a large wine rack that covers the interior, turning the shop into a giant ‘box of wine’. The wine rack lines the walls inside and can be clearly seen from outside, like a display case. In this way, the bottles are both displayed and stored at the same time.

 

 

‘ La caja’ is a warehouse, ‘la caja’ is a showcase, ‘la caja’ is decoration, ‘la caja’ is a shop, ‘la caja’ is a showcase, ‘la caja’ is an image, ‘la caja’ is the brand. ‘la caja de los vinos.’
